With the old system, it took three days to prepare monthly summary reports for the Board. Part of this cumbersome process involved compiling and cross referencing 15 spreadsheets. Because contingency logs, invoice registers, project budgets, and other key tracking spreadsheets were created separately for each project, the District's Operations team had to manually compare information across several standalone programs resulting in hours manual work. Additionally, it was nearly impossible to be certain about the data integrity, as the process for compiling data involved referencing several stand-alone software programs, multiple revisions of drafts, and multiple data storage/ file archive systems. To improve and streamline project cost tracking and reporting, the Operations team implemented e-Builder Enterprise's integrated Cost Module which includes a central repository of project information with integrated dashboards and reports. This ensures all stakeholders have the right information on demand, and eliminates discrepancies caused by multiple versions of the same information. Today, savings from these productivity improvements alone are estimated at $18,000/year. Owners Addressing Incomplete Information
